I’m going to check with my Dr. first because I have high blood pressure and on medication. Not sure what to expect..how did it work for you?
I am healthy, blood pressure normal, cholesterol normal, blood sugar normal, etc.–checked less than 3 months ago. But, I am about 25-27 pounds over what should be my maximum weight–its the heaviest I have been in 15 years! My doctor said it would be a good idea to lose some weight, but not that necessary as my health is good. But I want to lose the weight! I have been dieting for the last year (in a healthy, well-balance way and exercising and the weight has stayed steady–haven’t lost any but haven’t gained any either) I took phentermine once before–about 7 years ago and it really helped “jumpstart” my weight loss–lost the weight, kept it off until the last 18 months or so–hitting menopause, so hormones are going crazy and so is weight. My doctor says the phentermine isn’t necessary because I am healthy, just cut back a little–but I already have and nothing happens! I would like to at least give phentenrmine a try, a month or so to see if it would help.
What are you wanting to report me for? This isn’t illegal or anything–there are sites where you can order some medications online with just a consultation. I am ordering a controlled substance or trying to break a law–just my doctor belives in being as natural as possible–wouldn’t even allow me to have a cup of coffee while I was pregnant–not even 1! Also, no pain meds during 31 hours of labor–only does natural childbirth–no hormone therapy–just live with hot flashes and killer PMS during peri-menopause, etc.

Jillybeansmom–Thank you for your answer. I will probably check this site out. I know phentermine helped me after my last child–gained too much, went past my due date, couldn’t get the weight to budge–took it for about 2 months–weight just started melting off (didn’t do anything different as far as diet or exercise–just diet and exercise suddenly started working!). I got rid of all the “baby” weight and kept it off with no special effort until the last year or so when, like I said, my hormones are doing some off-the-wall things–just don’t get in my way during PMS week LOL!!! Along with the mood swings and hot flashes has come stubborn weight!!!!!!!!!! So, I will more than likely give this a try–I have never had a drug or alcohol problem so I am not a person with an addiction prone personality or anything–just getting a little too “pleasantly plump!”
I have always had thin hair but not thinning hair. I have been taking Phentermine and going on the third month. I do take multi-vitamins everyday. I can now see my scalp at the crown of my head. Please help! Will my hair grow back if it is due to the medication? I cant stand this anymore.
